Class Information
A skills-based hands-on training from 8 a.m.-12 noon, focusing on the male and female genital exam. Participants engage in experiential training with male and female teaching assistants. Designed for clinicians who will be using these skills in their clinical practice. Must be taken in conjunction with a didactic course. Course fee is $75. PARTICIPATION IN GENITAL EXAM SKILLS IS LIMITED TO MDs, DOs, RNs, APNs, PAs AND HANDS-ON MEDICAL CLINICIANS
CME fee: $15; Nursing Contact Hours are free.
Each enrollment application will be reviewed for appropriate qualifications for this training. Applicants will be notified by a CA PTC staff person as to their registration status.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) through the joint providership of Cardea and CAPTC. Cardea is accredited by the IMQ/CMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 14547 for 4.8 contact hours for Male & Female Genital Exam Skills. If you are requesting nursing contact hours, you must be in attendance for the entire training. No partial credit is allowed.
