This one-day event on Dec. 1, 2017 honors World AIDS Day and addresses emerging concerns related to HIV and STDs in Texas Service Region 1.

Location:  Lubbock Memorial Civic Center

Time:  8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Target audience:  MDs, PAs, NPs, RNs, and all other health professionals

Topics will include:

  • Increaseing Rates of HIV and STIs in Texas
  • STD/HIV Screening and Treatment Recommendations
  • The Syphilis Epidemic in Texas
  • PrEP
  • STDs in Minors
  • Transgender Health
  • Social Media and STDs
