This course is designed for Physicians, PAs, NPs and RNs who see patients with or are at risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Course Agenda: Update on chlamydia diagnosis and treatment; Update on drug-resistant gonorrhea; Changing epidemiology and clinical presentation of syphilis; New developments in STD testing.
Course Objectives: At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- List the STDs most affected by drug resistance.
- Describe the best practices for chlamydia patient management.
- Recognize emerging trends in syphilis clinical presentation.
- Provide strong rationale for STD screening in your practice.
