STI Case Discussions - Thursday, February 10, 2022 / 8am until 12:00pm (CST)
Target Audience: Physicians, midlevel practitioners (PA, NP), nurses, and other health professionals who see patients with or at risk for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Course Description: Faculty from the St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center will use case discussions to present important diagnosis and treatment issues for common STIs.
Course Objectives:
• Explore using trauma informed care for sexual history taking. • Discuss current diagnosis and approaches to syphilis. • Discuss the management of urethritis, including clinical strategies for chlamydia. • Discuss common STI clinical scenarios.
The St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center is accredited by the Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
