A skills-based hands-on training focusing on the male and female genital exam. Participants engage in experiential training with male and female teaching assistants. Designed for clinicians who will be using these skills in their clinical practice. Must be taken in conjunction with a didactic course. Course fee is $75. PARTICIPATION IN GENITAL EXAM SKILLS IS LIMITED TO MDs, DOs, RNs, APNs, PAs AND HANDS-ON MEDICAL CLINICIANS

Each enrollment application will be reviewed for appropriate qualifications for this training. Applicants will be notified by a CA PTC staff person as to their registration status.

CME & Nursing Contact Hours - Free

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Curry International Tuberculosis Center and CAPTC. The Curry International Tuberculosis Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This conference is approved for 4 continuing education hours.

The Curry International Tuberculosis Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 4 Medical Knowledge MOC points] in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

The Curry International Tuberculosis Center is approved as a provider of continuing education by the California State Board of Registered Nurses, Provider Number CEP 12308. This educational conference is approved for 4 continuing education hours. Board requirements prevent us from offering CE credit to people who arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of the training, or leave the training early. Therefore, partial credit will not be awarded.
