This course is designed for Physicians, PAs, NPs and RNs who see patients with or are at risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Course Agenda:  Update on chlamydia diagnosis and treatment;  Update on drug-resistant gonorrhea;  Changing epidemiology and clinical presentation of syphilis;  New developments in STD testing.

Course Objectives:  At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  1.  List the STDs most affected by drug resistance.
  2.  Describe the best practices for chlamydia patient management.
  3.  Recognize emerging trends in syphilis clinical presentation.
  4.  Provide strong rationale for STD screening in your practice.
