NYC Adolescent Sexual Health Symposium
Unfortunately, due to concerns related to COVID19 and out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling tomorrow’s (March 4th) Adolescent Sexual Health Symposium. We are very disappointed to have to do this but are hoping to offer this shortly in the next few weeks as a web-based conference. We will be in touch with follow-up information as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding!
The New York City STD Prevention Training Center (NYC PTC) seeks to reduce health disparities among the NYC metro area adolescent population by increasing provider awareness about sexual health.
Topics will include The Adolescent Brain: Considerations for the Clinician; The State of Sexual Health and Adolescents in NYC; PrEP and Adolescents; Stigma and Mental Health; and STD Clinical Cases. A final agenda will be shared with approved registrants.
Target Audience: This free symposium is designed for providers such as physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners who provide direct clinical care to adolescent patients. Non-clinical providers such as health educators, social workers, administrators, etc. will be placed on a waitlist and accepted first come first serve based on space.
