2022 Georgia STD Update Program

Overview:

The 2022 Update will provide up-to-date information on prevention, management and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. The program will also include case studies that will review common disease states that may complicate treatment, explore emerging infections, and discuss the future of testing technique implementation.

This one-day continuing education conference will be held in virtual via zoom webinar on June 21st and June June 23rd.  Space is limited so register early for this conference. This registration link is for Thursday, June 23, 2022 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM EASTERN TIME.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 12:00 pm ET on June 17, 2021

Objectives:

  • Provide an update on the current epidemiology/demographics of STI cases in Georgia
  • Review the process of providing effective, evidenced based patient counseling
  • Incorporate the 2021 Treatment Guidelines into Your Practice: Chlamydia, Genital Herpes, , Gonorrhea and PrEP

This knowledge-based activity is targeted to physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, public health workers and other health care providers.
