Doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (DoxyPEP) has been recognized as an effective means for prevention of certain bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) following condomless sex in indicated populations. In the third part of this four-part sexual health series, participants will learn the basics of DoxyPEP to include understanding the research that supports this intervention, current recommended guidelines, and prescribing/management of DoxyPEP.
