Context matters in delivering effective, quality care. During this Region 8 STI Leadership Learning Community (LC), we will be learning about ACT-PrEP, an evidence-based intervention from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) to increase PrEP uptake in black men who have sex with men (MSM). Presenters will walk learners through the multi-step design process and implementation of this pilot. Learners will have a chance to engage in discussions on how to assess the impact of different environmental factors on public health interventions.

Learning Objectives:
•    Identify examples of how and why socio-environmental context can impact public health interventions
•    Describe the evidence based behavioral intervention, ACT, to include benefits and limitations
