The STI Clinical Single Subject Course provides participants with training in the most recent advancements in epidemiology, diagnosis, and management of viral and bacterial STIs.

Description

These 3 sessions will address recent developments in the prevention, diagnosis and management of prevalent STDs and will concentrate on one of the following topics: Syphilis Epidemiology, Treatment, Congenital Syphilis & Syphilis in pregnancy.

 

Course Objectives

  • Discuss the clinical management of syphilis to include treatment, follow-up and partner management
  • Discuss the management of congenital syphilis
  • Discuss screening recommendations
