  • STI Prevention Overview: 60 minutes  
  • This training is meant to introduce a wide array of STI prevention strategies and clinical tools for creating comprehensive, person-centered risk reduction plans. Topics reviewed include empiric treatment of STIs, expedited partner therapy (EPT), vaccines, DoxyPEP for bacterial STI prevention, & barrier methods (i.e., condoms).  
  • By the end of this training, participants will be able to describe the concepts of empiric treatment and EPT, list currently recommended vaccinations to prevent viral STIs, and describe indications for DoxyPEP.
