Sexually active youth under the age of 25 have the highest rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) of any age group in Colorado. We invite you to hear the perspectives of practitioners with expertise in the care of adolescents and young adults. We will also share the latest updates on STI clinical care.
Learning objectives:
• Discover the patterns, geographic distribution and prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV among adolescents and young adults in Colorado.
• Identify resources for implementing STI/HIV services for adolescents and young adults in a primary care setting.
• Discuss current youth-focused STI/HIV prevention interventions at Denver Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
• Describe updates in STI/HIV prevention and treatment.
